The best pieces were made by josiah spode and by hulse, nixon & adderley in stadffordshire, there are others made in japan and the united states are from the late 19th century and early 20th century but other qualities in the transfers or decals. This piece is from the 19th century so it is quite old, we know it by its intense cobalt blue color and the traces of iron in the porcelain, and it is also preserved in good condition without chips or edges despite its age.
