Large modernist brass door handle from an old hotel.

Exceptional and rare double-sided pull handle, originally designed for a solid glass door. Coming from an old hotel in the historic town of Fougères, this piece of modernist hardware dates from the 1950s-60s. Crafted from particularly heavy solid brass. The surface of the brass has a superb original patina with a crystallized or naturally glittered effect. This textured appearance beautifully catches the light. Complete with threaded rod and rubber washers. It will bring an incredible charm and a mid-century touch.
