Add a striking touch of organic, mid-century modern artistry to your home with this exceptional handcrafted studio pottery canteen vase. This collectible ceramic vessel features a flattened, bulbous silhouette reminiscent of a traditional water flask, culminating in a short, elegant flared neck. The face of the vase showcases a deeply textured, abstract geometric relief motif. This champlevé-style carved design reveals the raw, dark, iron-rich stoneware body underneath, contrasting beautifully with the smooth surfaces surrounding it. The upper body is finished in a beautiful light celadon seafoam green glaze with a deliberate, high-contrast crackle (crazing) finish. The glaze melts organically down into a raw, heavily textured charcoal and espresso brown unglazed base, offering a highly tactile, earthy aesthetic. Perfect as a standalone sculptural statement piece, a bud vase, or a prominent addition to a studio pottery collection. Style: Mid-Century Modern, Brutalist, Organic Modern, Studio Ceramic Art. Colors: Celadon Green, Seafoam, Espresso Brown, Dark Charcoal. Technique: Wheel-thrown / Hand-built, Hand-carved Relief, Crackle Glaze. Condition: Good vintage condition. In front, at the conection of the blue with mate has a small sign who can be from the artwork, please, check the photo. The crackled texture on the green glaze is intentional and part of the firing process. Aprox weight: 1400 gr. I provide tracking number.
