Larco Series Sideboard by Gianfranco Frattini for Molteni, 1970s

The molteni sideboard from the rare gianfranco frattini larco series showcases a combination of black lacquer and high gloss acrylic surfaces, which are complemented by matte black panels on the top surface. This modular casegood series consists of four pieces joined together on an inset tubular metal base. The sideboard offers various storage options such as drawers, doors, a bottle rack, and a middle bay with a flip top that houses a molded plastic sound system interior. Additionally, it features a functioning vinyl player positioned just below the flip top. The drawers and doors are equipped with seamless recessed pulls, enhancing their sleek appearance. The item is fully functional and is in a nice vintage condition, scratches and signs of wear consistent with age and use can be spotted, as seen on the photos.
