George Nelson sideboard for Herman Miller, Circa 1960

Very beautiful legendary sideboard by George Nelson, published by Herman Miller in the early 1960s, certainly one of the first series produced. The veneer is in rosewood, the cylindrical base in chromed metal. As this is a 60-year-old piece of furniture, initially in its original state, it was restored by a cabinetmaker without distorting it. There remains a slight defect on the top (lightening of the slightly worn veneer over 10cm, see photo) and the side door is missing. Dimensions: H; 66cm L; 203 cm D; 47cm
