Carlo X commode in walnut - Italy 19th century

Carlo X chest of drawers in walnut, Italian manufacture from the second quarter of the 19th century. The structure features a front with four drawers, the first of which, smaller in size, is elegantly integrated into the moulded band beneath the top. The other three drawers are framed by a fine moulding that highlights the linear design. The ball feet add a distinctive and sturdy touch to the base of the piece. The interiors are made of poplar. This chest of drawers represents a refined example of 19th-century Italian taste and craftsmanship.
