XXL Superellipse table by Piet Hein & Bruno Mathsson for Fritz Hansen 1994

This XXL 'Superellipse' dining/conference table was designed by Piet Hein and Bruno Mathsson for Fritz Hansen in Denmark in 1968. This iconic design was in production for a long time as it was a great success. This specific piece dates from 1994. The table has 5 chrome plated hairpin legs, including the entral leg for extra support. These legs can easily be disassembled because they attach under tension.It has a wooden tabletop with a white laminate surface and solid aluminum edges. Thanks to its generous dimensions of 240 X 120 cm, this XXL model comfortably seats 8 to 10 people, making it highly suitable as a large dining table or an elegant conference table for office spaces. We have 2 of these tables available, both in a good original condition with normal wear from age and use and marked with the Fritz Hansen sticker on the underside of the top.
