Children's armchair shell basket wicker rattan

This charming wicker basket armchair will delight a toddler or can also serve as decoration by hosting a doll or a stuffed animal. It must be from the 60s or 70s. It is in rather good condition, still solid and stable, but does not hide its age. Three strands, of those surrounding at the front, the rods making structure, were absent, I replaced them with strands that I recovered on a seat impossible to save. We see a break on a stem of the seat, under a strand of wicker, but the stem does not seem to move, no concern for solidity. I have carefully cleaned this chair of all the dust accumulated for decades (brush washing to clean all the "corners" as well as possible), but there is probably a little left. There are also small spots and various marks testifying to his age. It measures 49 cm at the highest, 39 cm at the widest and about 45 cm at maximum depth. It weighs about 1.25 kg.
