Classic nesting table in three pieces, made of mahogany, signed by Russell Gordon, Mid-Century Modern style. With the manufacturer's mark engraved under one of the table tops. Beautiful patina, some signs of wear and aging. About the designer: “Gordon Russell (1892 - 1980) was born in London.” As a teenager, he was inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement when he moved with his family to Broadway, in the Cotswolds, in 1904. After serving as an officer during the First World War, he established himself as one of the brightest British furniture designers of the 20th century.
