Set of 3 nesting tables in brass and glass. French work by Guy Lef.

This set of three nesting tables features quadrangular structures in patinated brass, with legs carved with double grooves that emphasise their verticality. Each transparent glass top is set within a moulded frame. The three decreasing sizes fit perfectly one under the other, freeing up space when not in use. This rigorous and graphic construction, with its burnished brass and golden patina, is characteristic of French design from the 1970s, by Guy Lefèvre for Maison Jansen, who adapted the flying brass furniture into strictly architectural lines. Condition report: Good overall condition. Brass with a homogeneous bronze patina. A practical and elegant trio, to be deployed as needed around a sofa.
