70 terracotta balls and a metal calot

These marbles are sure to bring back memories of school and youth to many of us. In my time, we had switched to glass marbles, but each of us still had in his cloth bag or his small wooden box, some terracotta marbles transmitted by his parents. They can be used to play with children but are also very decorative. This is a set of 70 terracotta balls, and a large metal calot patinated by the years, the set probably dates from the first half of the 20th century. They are in various states, sometimes with still bright colors, sometimes less, but always with marks that testify to their use in schoolyards, including small chips and two or three larger. They will be shipped with this basket which is also not very young.
