Five plates Céranord Saint-Amand "Brocatelle" vintage

The plates are all in very good condition, no gaps or enamel jumps, no cracks. They come from the earthenware factories of saint-amand in the nord pas de calais, in the north of france, a land of tradition for the production of faiences and porcelain. It is a service that we can often see, simple and joyful, with its décor of red peas, and green fillets on the marli. The marli is also enriched with two fillets in light relief. The plates are hollow, and they served, but the enamel, which is of good quality remained beautiful. The peas are unsized, which is due to the fact that the decorations were handmade, and with a brush, the plates being decorated one by one by skilled workers. They date back to the early 1950s.
