Nineteenth-century rectangular mirror with geometric pattern.

French rectangular mirror in gilded wood from the late 19th century, featuring geometric patterns. This large rectangular mirror draws attention with its gilded finish enhanced by red undertones, perfectly complementing the engraved geometric effects. The mirror has a wooden frame, decorated with gesso and gilded with gold leaf. The frame features a beaded frieze on the inner perimeter. The mirror dates from around 1880. The glass is original to the period, which accounts for the presence of a few (very) small signs of wear in the glass. The frame is in good condition and shows a beautiful antique patina. This mirror is antique and appears very modern at the same time. It will make a superb decorative accent in any interior. Dimensions: H 123 cm X W 65 cm X D 4 cm.
