This beautiful gilded French antique mirror showcases the typical rounded upper corners of Louis-Philippe mirrors. It has a narrow format. The mirror retains its original glass and has a wooden back. The gold leaf gilding features elegant incised decorations of flowers and leaves. A slight red hue shows through in places within the gilding, giving the gold colour a warm touch.
