I present to you this series of six earthenware oyster plates, manufactured by st. Clément in france. These six plates dating from the late 1950s are in exceptional condition. They feature many finely crafted details, with a central place designed to place a lemon wedge. Each plate proudly bears the signature and model under its base. The faïencerie de saint-clément has perpetuated the heritage of the prestigious earthenware of lorraine since the 17th century. The saint-clément factory was created around 1758 and lasted until 2022. It was a source of inspiration for the work of charles and émile gallé, and it even produced pieces for the court of versailles, contributing thus in the louis XVI style.
