Gabriel Fourmaintraux oyster plates

Rare and magnificent oyster plates. Desvres earthenware. Handmade and signed by the artist Gabriel Fourmaintraux, who largely contributed to the reputation of this earthenware factory. In the magnificent gray, white, black, and edelweiss-style floral tones and patterns used by the artist for other pieces. Shape reminiscent of an oyster shell for the borders. Small grooves on the central location to apparently represent the lemon. Allows you to place six oysters in the locations provided for this purpose. Very good condition. Some slight wear related to time. Very slight chips on the back: see photo. Diameter of each plate: 24 cms. I also have an oyster dish of the same model in my shop.
