Handcrafted reproduction vase / Maya pottery

Reproduction of pre-Columbian art: famous vase from the 8th century, visible at the Penn Museum (University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology) in Philadelphia (see last photo). Maya decorations hand-painted, several hypotheses are put forward, but that of a sacrifice/sanction of the kneeling figure seems the most probable. Ancient and collectible piece; terracotta; handmade in the 60s/70s most likely. L: 14/15 cm; h: 24 cm; weight: 1.5 kg. More photos available on request; shipping with insurance only.
