Description
This watercolor represents the interior of a church. We can see different columns and pointed arches. We can see hanging in the opposite aisles different paintings. An altar is visible on the left side. This watercolor was made by the reunion artist georges roussin 1854-1941. It comes from his studio. He was a pupil of cabanel, lefebvre and millet, which explains the very high quality of his work. He exhibited at the salon of 1878, which shows his importance at the time.
