Chinese screen in black lacquer and marble stone

Black lacquer screen with hand-painted gold decorations. The work is quite delicate. Each panel has applications of marble stone and marble decorations. It was given to me and I am parting with it for lack of space. It has some traces of time: a stone figure is missing (we see an old trace but this does not have a major impact on the whole), it is missing the head of one of the characters and there have been small repairs. Some edges and upper angles are a little damaged. These different imperfections explain the rather low price for an item of this quality. Each panel is 156 cm high, 38 cm wide and 2.5 cm thick. The total unfolded width is 155 cm.
