Chair 'Krefeld' - mid century modern easy chair - fully restored

Clean lines, bright colours. This vintage armchair is a characterful design with a distinct modernist shape. We bought it as a project in Germany. The brand and designer are unfortunately unknown, but the design speaks for itself. Especially the metal frame gives the armchair its unique appearance: the straight, double profiles run in clean lines along the seat and backrest, forming a graphic whole. The open construction and bright geometry give the design an almost architectural character, without compromising comfort. The armchair has been fully restored in our workshop. The metal frame has been refinished in black, making the clean lines stand out beautifully. The upholstery has also been completely renewed, now with a high-quality orange wool blend from Oniro. The warm, vibrant colour provides a striking contrast to the black frame, giving the design a contemporary look while maintaining its vintage character. The result is an armchair that not only looks exceptionally good but is also wonderfully comfortable. Thanks to the thorough restoration, new filling, and high-quality upholstery, this piece is in a condition rarely found in vintage furniture.
