Modern mid-century Cocoon ceiling light by Friedel Wauer for Goldkant Leuchten, 1960s.

Large modern Cocoon ceiling lamp from the mid-century by the German manufacturer Goldkant, designed by Friedel Wauer in the 1960s. The lamp is mounted directly to the ceiling or wall. A teak disc with a screw connects the light fixture to the mounting bracket. Goldkant was known at the time for its various Cocoon lighting designs. The lamp is in very good condition with signs of wear and patina.
