Danish Knit Wit 60 Suspension in knitted fabric by Iskos Berlin for Made by Hand, Copenhagen

Vintage design. Impressive pendant lamp from the Knit Wit series by the Danish manufacturer Made by Hand from Copenhagen. The Knit Wit series captivates with its unique materiality. As its name suggests, the diffuser material is a 3D knitted fabric made of fire-retardant polyester. The interplay of transparency, as well as the structure and special light effect of the fabric, are particularly important here. At the top and bottom, the balloon-shaped shade is bordered with powder-coated black aluminium rings. The braid is held in place by flexible rods that fit into the guided passages of the rings. The lamp is equipped with a black textile cable. Additionally, it features a specially designed tube. The CableCup by Swedish designers Jonas Forsman and Lars Wetre is a flexible cap that ensures a clean finish at the ceiling.
