Shelf – Charlotte Perriand / Ateliers Jean Prouvé, Dimensions: 210x30x35 cm. This shelf comes from the interior design completed in 1954 by Charlotte Perriand for the HLM building known as "Le Courboulay, " designed by architect Jean Le Couteur in the city of Le Mans. The woodwork was made by Ateliers Jean Prouvé. Initially integrated into the structure, the frames were carefully salvaged by our team and then reassembled on a base by a cabinetmaker to give them an autonomous furniture function. It reflects an important moment in post-war French architecture and design, at the intersection of the work of Charlotte Perriand, Jean Prouvé, and Jean Le Couteur. It retains the graphic strength, constructive sobriety, and functional intelligence characteristic of major modern layouts from the 1950s. A rare piece, with remarkable and documented provenance, intended for collectors, interior architects, institutions, or enthusiasts of historical furniture.
