Axel Christensen Aco Mobler highboard sideboard vintage teak 60s

High-quality Danish highboard made of teak, designed by Axel Christensen for ACO Møbler. The harmonious proportions, warm wood tone, and elaborately crafted details give the piece a special character. Notable features include the gently profiled frame with rounded corners and the finely crafted base. The curved handles of the two lower drawers echo the soft lines of the furniture and emphasize the careful design. Behind the two sliding doors is a versatile layout with several shelves and five shallow, pull-out trays lined with green felt and elegantly curved fronts with visible dovetail joints. Two additional drawers below the sliding doors provide extra storage space. The elaborate workmanship and many finely crafted wood details make this highboard a special example of Danish furniture craftsmanship. The overall condition is very good with minor age-related signs of use on the surfaces. There is a darker patch visible on one of the sliding doors.
