Exceptional quality teak buffet, made by Bernhard Pedersen & Søn in Denmark between 1960 and 1965. This Danish workshop embodies the qualities of Danish Modern in its purest form: balanced proportions, noble materials, and meticulous execution down to the smallest details. An original manufacturer's plaque can be found inside one of the drawers. The standout feature is the two slatted doors. The fine vertical teak slats, with their warm and vibrant hues, create the effect of a painting and give the piece a particular depth. The body rests on tapered legs that provide an elegant lightness despite its height. Behind the doors are two large compartments with a total of five shelves as well as three interior drawers, two of which are lined with felt. The piece is extremely well-crafted, with many solid wood elements – a true Danish craftsmanship. Condition: magnificent vintage condition – only minor bumps on the upper rear corners and on the sides of the edges, which do not detract from the overall appearance. Warm teak with a beautiful natural patina. A rare piece of Danish craftsmanship for beautiful living rooms and dining areas. Dimensions: approximately 120 × 48 × 128 cm (width × depth × height).
