Hang It All yellow edition by Charles Eames and Ray Eames for Vitra

The Hang It All coat rack, designed by Charles Eames and Ray Eames, was born from a very simple idea: to transform an everyday object like a coat rack into something more fun, lighter, and more pleasant to use every day. It is probably this simplicity that makes it so recognisable even today. The steel structure creates an essential grid on which the colourful ball features develop, an element that immediately defines the project. In this Yellow Edition version, the colour combination makes the whole even brighter and more playful, while maintaining the formal purity that allows the object to easily fit into very minimalist environments. Although it is a coat rack, it often functions as something more: in an entrance, it becomes a welcoming element; in a bedroom, it adds colour without taking up space; while in an office or a child's room, it easily transforms into a small graphic wall element. It is one of those projects that manages to achieve a very rare thing: to remain practical without becoming anonymous.
