Pair of gilded bronze candlesticks

Interesting pair of late 18th century gilt bronze candlesticks with the gadroons often used under royalty and the foot and body ring rather from the Directoire period... They have small restorations and very slight dents... Each has a period crack at the base... Otherwise they are large models: 27.5 high, and heavy: 1774 grams per pair.
