Large torch candle holder in silver metal mid-nineteenth century. Hallmarks with the grasshopper of the goldsmith charles balaine active in paris rue du faubourg du temple between 1827 and 1844. Height 28 cm weight 852g. Wear in places of the silvering revealing the copper. Two shocks on the base.
