Description
Period: ca. 1960s. A very large white earthenware ewer with a hand-painted decoration of a satyr harp player, flowers and bees scattered all over the surface. The colors are oranges, blues and soft greens. The beak ends at the head of a dragon and the curved handle ends in rolls. It has a lid with frotelle. The bottom bears the words "les vieux moustiers 18ème siècle"; these are reproductions from the middle of the 19th century that take up the emblematic decorations of the historic center in productions of moustier ceramics. Condition: very good. No damage. Crack of the superficial glaze on the inner edge of the lid (therefore not visible) Size: See photo.
