Round coffee table 529 by w.h. gispen, 1950s – large version

Round gispen coffee table model 529 designed by w.h. Gispen in 1954. This is the large version model 529 from the fifties (the brother of the smaller model 503). The condition is very good again with normal traces of use along the edge; the top leaf is recently provided with new black linoleum (see photos) while preserving the original ivory-colored white trim. The lower leaf has dark green linoleum. The dimensions are h X d = 60 X 95 cm, diameter X height bottom shelf = 70 X 35 cm. The 503 is a lot smaller in size, namely height X diameter = 60 X 70 cm.
