Generous teak sideboard, designed in the 1960s by Henry Walter Klein and manufactured by Bramin Møbler in Denmark. With his creations for Bramin, this Norwegian-born designer left a mark on Danish design of that era – characterised by clear proportions and a keen sense of constructive detail. The treatment of the angles is particularly appealing: accentuated vertical edges read like columns that extend into the slender, tapered legs, making the construction almost legible. Finely crafted solid wood horizontal edges frame the body of the piece at the top and bottom, completing its beautiful appearance. The square recessed handles with highlighted edges create a calm and graphic pattern across the entire façade. Behind two large sliding doors are two spacious compartments, each with a shelf, carefully lined with beautiful teak on the inside. In the centre, four drawers, the first of which is lined with green felt – ideal for cutlery or small treasures. Condition: very good vintage condition – some more pronounced marks on the surface have been carefully touched up by our restorer. They remain visible but do not detract from the piece's beautiful presence. Warm teak tone with lively grain and lovely natural patina. A generous piece of Danish design for discerning living rooms and dining areas. Dimensions: approx. 225 × 45 × 79 cm (width × depth × height).
