Adorable small glazed stoneware jug with lovely lines and a very slight ribbed effect. A brown stoneware with a grey glaze speckled with black, characteristic of the Atch workshop, run by the ceramicist couple Chantal and Thierry Robert, named Atch "the stoneware of Loir". This wonderful glaze is by far my favourite in their production. It is a beautiful piece of craftsmanship, both in terms of turning and glazing. A bit forgotten in the history of ceramics, they were very active and innovative from the 1960s to the 1990s, and in Poncé-sur-Loir from 1973. It bears the Atch stamp in relief underneath. It probably dates from the late 1970s or early 1980s. It can be used to present milk on a lovely breakfast table or simply as decoration with a bouquet of dried flowers, and it will also wonderfully complement a collection of ceramics. It is in very good condition, with no cracks or chips, just a tiny, barely visible nick on the edge. It measures 13.5 cm in height, 13 cm in width from the spout to the handle, and has a diameter of approximately 8.5 cm.
