Early in his career, Lohmeyer studied architecture at the Technical University of Karlsruhe. One of his professors there was Egon Eiermann. Subsequently, Hartmut Lohmeyer worked as an independent architect and designer. He also taught for a time at the University of Alexandria in Cairo. The armchair presented here dates from the 1950s. This model was produced in very limited quantities and is therefore rare. The leather shows signs of use, such as slight yellowing and minor imperfections. The chrome appears slightly cloudy in places. The item will be shipped disassembled.
