Leather wingback chair

Grand wingback armchair in dark brown leather. Danish manufacture by Orla Molgaard-Nielsen from the 1970s. Good condition with very minimal signs of use. Wingback chairs, also known as English style chairs, are pieces of furniture with a high back and side projections. Originally, these projections were designed to protect those sitting in these avant-garde pieces in England from the cold. In the past, homes did not have the comforts we have today, which is why one of the best ways to rest and shield oneself from the cold was to have a comfortable wingback chair at home.
