Large covered pot L. Giraud Vallauris mid-century

Large covered pot from the mid-century (sweet jar, pickle jar, compost pot...), cylindrical body with double ear handles (stylised bridge shape, positioned in both directions) & flat lid with a pierced handle. Made of earthenware with a green glaze, black and iridescent reflections. Signed underneath by Louis Giraud, an artist from Vallauris. 1950s / 1960s. Very high quality of design & glaze, in very good condition except for a small chip underneath & 2 tiny losses of enamel on one handle (see photos).
