Vintage Korhogo Senoufo canvas tapestry L.103 cm

Korhogo canvas, senoufo. Ivorian work from the 60s - 70s. Six strips of hand-woven fabric sewn edge to edge and decorated with characters in ceremonial clothing and animals from african wildlife. The patterns are made using a brown vegetable pigment. The total width of this traditional tapestry is 102 cm and its total height is 63 cm. It will be shipped carefully folded. In places it shows traces of use consistent with its age (see photos and zoom in).
