Small handled ceramic vase from Safi, signed, Morocco, 1960-1980.

Small vintage amphora vase in glazed ceramic from Safi, Moroccan craftsmanship from the 1960s-1980s. It has a lovely silhouette with a bulging body, a narrow neck, and two large arched handles, entirely hand-decorated with stylised geometric and plant motifs in a beautiful palette of brown, black, green, and yellow on a cracked beige background. Unidentified signature present under the base. 16.5cm high, 15cm maximum width with the handles, and approximately 13-14cm maximum diameter. Very good overall condition, with a few discreet small signs of age. Weighs approximately 700-800g.
