Set of 6 Zigo chairs – Ron Arad for Driade – Italy, 1990s

Rare set of six Zigo chairs, designed by Ron Arad for the Italian publisher Driade in the early 1990s. This model is particularly representative of Ron Arad's work, as the Zigo combines a spectacular chrome tubular metal structure with a seat and backrest made of woven natural rattan. The metal structure, designed as a continuous line, forms both the base and the armrests, giving the chair its immediately recognisable sculptural silhouette. This homogeneous set of six pieces is particularly interesting for creating a complete dining set. The six chairs are in excellent vintage condition. The rattan is remarkably well preserved and consistent, as are the metal structures.
