Stoneware jug Norbert Pierlot the tawny owl

Small stoneware jug attributed to Jeanne and Norbert Pierrot, Ratilly workshop, probably dating from the 1960s. Beautiful hand-turned shape, with a ribbed neck, thick handle, and speckled glaze in shades of grey, beige, and brown, showcasing very nice firing effects. The piece bears the iconic signature of the tawny owl at the bottom, characteristic of the Pierlot workshop. Dimensions: approximately 14 cm in height, 9 cm in diameter at the base. Very good overall condition, with the material and glazing irregularities typical of handmade production.
