Vintage Teak Armchair by Komfort, Denmark, 1980s

This armchair from the Danish manufacturer Komfort combines generous seating comfort with beautifully crafted design. The solid teak structure features wide armrests with gently rounded lines that blend harmoniously into the legs and backrest; the open sides lighten an otherwise very sturdy construction, while the curved crossbar and visible angled supports at the back demonstrate great attention to detail. The generously padded seat and slightly inclined backrest make it exceptionally comfortable, and the finely veined upholstery in a light grey-beige tone offers a soothing contrast to the warmth of the teak. Edited by Komfort in Denmark in the 1980s (Danish Design), it is in very good condition, with slight signs of wear related to age and a repolished surface.
