Pair of Hans-Agne Jakobsson pendant lights in pine veneer – AB Ellysett

Beautiful pair of Scandinavian pendants designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson and produced by AB Ellysett in Sweden in the 1970s. Made from fine strips of pine veneer forming a tiered spherical structure, they diffuse a particularly warm and soft light, characteristic of the Swedish designer's creations. Both pendants have been completely re-wired with new white cables and are ready for immediate use. In very good original condition with a lovely patina on the wood. One pendant has a discreet old repair on a veneer joint, visible in the detailed photographs. Some light signs of use consistent with their age. A pair that has become difficult to find today.
