Product Description This minimalist yellow pendant lamp is part of the Scan-Light series, a bold, modern lighting concept developed in the 1960s by Hans-Agne Jakobsson, in collaboration with Thorsten Orrling. Designed as an evolution of previous lamps made of metal and wood veneer, this series introduces a new material: a lightweight, translucent acrylic—available in orange, beige, and yellow. This particular model, known as the TN52, is a compact version measuring 30 cm high and 20 cm in diameter. Its clean, geometric silhouette reflects the Scandinavian aesthetic of the time: simplicity, functionality, and visual impact. It diffuses a soft, warm, glare-free light, true to Jakobsson's philosophy of calming ambient lighting. In excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of age, it is fitted with a standard E14 socket and a new 200 cm cord. A true collector's item, this lamp embodies the refined innovation of one of Scandinavia's most prolific and influential lighting designers.
