Large vintage ceramic bowl from Vallauris – Brown and orange glaze

🏺 Large vintage ceramic bowl from Vallauris – Brown and orange glaze – 1960s-70s. Beautiful and large decorative bowl in Vallauris ceramic, featuring a sculptural design and organic lines, in the spirit of French handcrafted creations from the 1960s-1970s. Its dynamic silhouette, wavy and raised edges, along with its two oval openings, give it a particularly original and elegant appearance. 🎨 Its stunning deep brown glaze, with almost black reflections, is animated by abstract patterns in orange, ochre, and cream hues. These speckled effects and variations in texture create a bright and expressive decor, contrasting with the depth of the glossy glaze. Each curve reveals new shades depending on the light and angle of view. ✨ A true sculptural object, this bowl rests on a discreet oval base that highlights its airy shape. Its generous dimensions make it a beautiful centrepiece on a coffee table, sideboard, or vintage sideboard. It can also be used as a catch-all or decorative bowl. 🇫🇷 Marked VALLAURIS underneath, it reflects the richness of the ceramic productions from this famous Provençal town. It is in generally good vintage condition, with some minor signs of use and surface imperfections visible in the photographs. 📐 Dimensions: 40 × 24 × H 9 cm. 💫 A decorative piece full of character, blending artisanal craftsmanship, freedom of form, and modernist aesthetics, ideal for adding a warm and unique touch to an interior. Circa 1970. ✈️ Delivery possible in France and worldwide.
