Vintage Japanese Porcelain Cup and Saucer Duo

Magnificent duo set comprising a tea cup and its matching saucer made of fine porcelain from Japan, dating from the mid-20th century (circa 1950). • Style & Decor: Very rich traditional hand-painted decoration featuring faces of Geishas and Japanese Sages. Sublime finishes with shiny gilding and raised pearl patterns (Moriage artisanal technique). • Signature: Authenticated by a seal and red characters painted under the base of the cup (Kutani style). • Condition: EXCELLENT vintage condition. The gilding is very bright, the decoration is intact, and all the raised pearls on the handle are present. No cracks, no chips, no nicks.
