Antique gilded bronze catchall tray

Magnificent antique pencil case (can also serve as a catch-all or brush holder) made of solid bronze with a gilded patina. The decoration is very finely chiselled in the Rococo / Louis XV style, dating from the late 19th century (Napoleon III period), featuring leafy scrolls, floral garlands, and tied ribbons. The handles are crafted with typical swirling motifs of the era. Marked on the back: "DL DEPOSE N°7", guaranteeing a registered model from a French foundry. It rests on four small round feet. In very good condition, with a beautiful patina of time and no major oxidation. Length 24cm Height 1.5cm.
