Cave rat bronze candlestick

Superb cave rat candle holder in bronze, in the Louis XV style, dating from the early 20th century. Refined decoration typical of the Louis XV style, with a scalloped base and beautiful relief scrolls. Dimensions: H. 7 × L. 21.5 × W. 9.5 cm. Weight: 350 g. Condition: Generally good condition. The old threading of the central binet is worn: the bobeche turns freely without screwing in or detaching. The whole remains solid and functional for holding a candle, without affecting the aesthetics of the piece.
