Magnussen Ponte coffee table, 70/80

Oval coffee table with asymmetrical two levels by Magnussen Ponte from the 70s-80s. The table, covered in Mactan stone, is made of a wooden frame, making it lighter than it appears. Mactan stone, also known as fossil stone, is only found on Mactan Island in the Philippines. This ancient rock houses fossils of prehistoric creatures that once inhabited the reefs. In very good condition, despite some signs of age and minimal, barely visible material losses. Origin: Italy. Dimensions: L. 61cm W. 110cm H. 42cm. Height of the upper top: 35cm.
