Superb designer coffee table from the 80s by magnussen ponte. Mactan stone structure also called fossil stone. Mactan stone is only found on the island of mactan in the southern philippines. It is an ancient rock in which you can find fossils of prehistoric creatures that once inhabited the reefs. Pattern of marbled pink briquettes on the trays. It shows some signs of wear on the exterior, gaps visible up close in the photos, which have no impact on the overall aesthetic of this very beautiful piece.
