Lovers of sober and refined design, a bit formal but always timeless, you will love this floor lamp published by the prestigious maison arlus in the 50s and 60s, which has since become the emblem of the brand that chose it to illustrate its logo. Its graphic lines and the choice of materials of its design are typical of the house and immediately recognizable. From the cast iron base dotted with a gilded brass insert there are three branches of black lacquered tubular metal that represent, for pragmatists, a trident or, for poets, a musical significance. On the brass rings bloom three reflectors in transparent carved glass, like three torches or three stylized tulips that diffuse a soft light. A resolutely avant-garde design and precious raw materials, such is the signature of maison arlus which claimed to be "decorator of light". The floor lamp is in a very good state of conservation and has no apparent defects. The brass is shiny and delicately patinated, and the metal has kept its original deep black. The electricity has been redone recently and the three lights are working normally. The floor lamp is equipped with a switch. Reflector length: about 27 cm.
