Lounge chair 'Alky' by Giancarlo Piretti

Velvet lounge chair 'Alky' designed by Italian designer Giancarlo Piretti. This chair was first produced by Castelli in 1969, and then the Dutch brand Artifort took over production a few years later. This multifunctional lounge chair combines comfort and unique design. The internal structure and aluminium legs are original, but the cold foam has been completely redone on this chair. It has also received a new cover in Angora, a high-end velvet with a wool-tencel surface, resembling mohair. It is very soft, provides a cooling effect in summer, and remains warm in winter. This fabric is breathable and very durable with an intense ochre-rust colour. The cover is removable thanks to a zipper under the chair. In excellent condition. No label present.
